The Fainting Goat Guild Futurity is designed to encourage selective breeding to enhance the breed and produce outstanding offspring, while competing for premium money, $50 Champion Award, and an end-of-year Overall Winner Award.

Master Showman: chosen from the 1st and 2nd place winners of classes S2 - S5.
Handlers will be judged on showmanship.  The goat will be judged on how well it is groomed.  Handlers may show a doe, wether, or junior buck of any breed and age.  Bucks over the age of 6 months are not allowed in showmanship classes.

This is a Jackpot premium class. Entry fees will be used to pay out premiums for 1st - 3rd place. Premium award depends on number of entries in the class. All skill levels are welcome to enter the Jackpot adult class.

Mini Myo Show

The Mini Myo Show is a show to honor the original, traditional (landrace) look of the Tennessee Fainting Goat back in the days of Jon Tinsley and Dr. Mayberry. Only small scale myotonic goats may enter.
A height of 22" for does and 23" for bucks. There is no minimum.

(Be sure to measure your goats before you enter as entry fees for oversized goats will not be refunded)


This show will be judged on the traditional representation of the goats, not as meat goats.
